"אז, מירב, במה את עוסקת?" - שאלה המגיחה מידי פעם, אשר גורמת לי לגירודים קלים. 
אני לאט לאט מצליחה להרגיש יותר נוח לומר שאני אמנית. בהתחלה מילה זו אף לא הייתה עולה בדעתי- אני? אמנית? היה נראה לי יהיר לקרוא לעצמי כך. אז הייתי עונה בקול מהוסס ומבוייש, שאני עוסקת בעיצוב גרפי, ומציירת. עם הזמן, וחשיפת העבודות שלי לקהל יותר רחב, ודרך התגובות- גם מאנשים שאינים חבים לי דבר, הבנתי שזה מי שאני. ולמעשה כל חיי זו מי שהייתי. אמנית.
אני אמנית שצריכה אמרגן, רואה חשבון, מזכירה, וספונסר.

Slowly I can feel more comfortable to say I am an artist. At first, this word didn't even occur to me - me? An artist? It seemed arrogant to call myself that. So I answered in a hesitant voice that I'm do work  graphic design, and paints. Over time,the  exposure of my work to a wider audience, and through the comments - even from people ins owe me anything, I realized that is who I am. In fact that all my life that's who I was. An artist.
I am an artist that needs a promoter, accountant, secretary, and sponsor.
